How to Use Essential Oils

Aromatically & Diffusing
Oil molecules saturate the olfactory nerves to stimulate the limbic system, which is the “seat of your emotions” and controls memory storage and recall. This region of the brain communicates through the sense of smell and stimulates the other brain glands to balance body systems
Put a drop in your hands, cup hands over face, and breathe deeply for 1–2 minutes
Cool-mist Diffusers fill your home with all the benefits of oils!
Diffuse 6–8 drops of oil, more or less, for 20–30 minutes, until it runs out, or overnight.

Shelf life of distilled oils: decades; Citrus oils: 3–4 years
Safety
When in doubt, dilute! (sensitive skin, babies/children, pets, new oil)
Citrus oils are photosensitive. Do not apply before tanning
Avoid eyes, and do not drip directly into ears.
There are no allergies to true essential oils, other than citrus oils. Skin reactions are typically due to oils interacting with toxins in the skin or absorbing too quickly.
Apply carrier oil topically to sooth a reaction, or to draw EO’s out of the eyes
